Arthur Andersen 2007 Alumni Reunion

Today, we photographed Arthur Andersen 2007 Alumni Reunion held at Gryphon Club in Hard Rock Seminole Casino in Davie, Florida.

It was nice to see old friends and familiar faces. Special thanks to Colleen, Evelyn and all the other helpers for making this a great event. The smiling faces and drinks makes it all worthwhile.

Happy Halloween

On Halloween we just chilled around the house while the neighborhood kids came around trick or treating. We did dress up our son mcginnis as Under Dog per request of our nephew Sebas.

Yadira & Amado's Wedding

Yadira & Amado were married at the Grand Bay Club in Key Biscayne, Florida yesterday afternoon. The wedding took place overlooking the beach side. Small clouds of rain prung by but they were gone by the time the ceremony was ready to begin.

Thank you Cris and Alex for helping me cover this event. Over all I think we got some great shots of the beautiful bride and groom.

Amber's Birthday

Yesterday, I videographed Amber's Birthday. All her friends came dressed in their costume best. The birthday pricess was dressed as Ariel, The Little Mermaid.

In the afternoon, the children were treated to a magic show by Andy the Magician and Laly the Clown. The show was entertaining and full of surprises for all.

Thank You Lissette & Harry for being such wonderful host. I had a great time.

Emmy's Bridal Shower

This past Sunday Aldo and Elba photographed Emmy's bridal shower. It took place at her mom's house and everyone looks like they had great time. Emmy & Andy is getting married on November 24, 2007. Thank you for allowing us to capture this day for you. Make sure to check out the slideshow below.

Raquel & Omar's Wedding

Today Cris, Alex and John filmed Raquel & Omar's wedding over at the Doral Park Country Club while Claudia and I were out of town at a seminar. Thanks guys for covering their day.

Liquid Immersion

Today Claudia and I wrapped up a 3 day session in Avid Liquid Edition. Liquid is our main non-linear edit system we use to produce our videos. The Liquid Immersion seminar was hosted by Charlotte's North Carolina's User group. Class ranged from intro to advanced classes. We also enjoyed classes in flash and after effects.

We enjoyed making new friends from UK, Australia, Canada and US and look forward to keeping in touch and collaborating in future projects.

We can't wait to Immerse ourselves into our projects !

Capture & Creativity Tour

Last night Aldo, Claudia and I attended the Capture & Creativity Tour held by Clay Blackmore and Jane Conner-Ziser. It was a 4hr seminar on the psychology of the lens, working with 1 to 5 lights, posing, camera position, Photo touch up and more. It was a fun and intuitive seminar. It was great seeing other photographers in the business.

Mike's 30th Birthday

Yesterday, Friends and Family celebrated Mike's 30th Birthday.
Everyone packed into our house to surprise him as he came back from an afternoon of hanging out with his brothers Adrian & Alex.
Mike and I want to thank every one who came for making this celebration possible.

Lots going on this week.

"Pictage User Group" Meeting
Once a month we have been meeting over at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute with the South Florida PUG group. It's always great to see what is new with pictage and to be able to share info with other photographers in the area. Big thanks to Carlos Baez for putting the meeting together.

The night before the PUG meeting we did another meeting with Curtis Copeland. We were also able to meet Martin & Tracey, from www.photonotions.net ... it was all about sharing storys and getting to know each other.

New Website - Coming Soon
Great news, we are currently working on creating a new website. We are ramping up our photo services and need to give our website a new look and feel. We can wait to show it off. Stay tuned for the launch.

Jennie's Bridal Shower

Yesterday I filmed Jennie's Bridal Shower at the Softel Hotel. Every detail was well planned and the decor was absolutely beautiful. Team Cuba did a great job putting this event together. Check out some photos I was able to snap.

Amanda & Brandon's Birthday

Today I filmed Amanda & Brandon's Birthday over at the Sunset Academy in South Miami. It started off with a bit of rain but it cleared up. The kids had a great time, there was lots of food, fun and games.

Mike stopped by to get me started and take some photos. Thank you Jackie for allowing us to capture this special day.

Pictage Partner Conference 2007

The 2007 Pictage Partner Conference was held in Los Angeles, California. Claudia and I got the opportunity to participate in workshops headed by renowed photographers such as Dane Sanders, Robert Evans, Jared Bauman, Richard Emmanuel, Carlos Baez, Corey McNabb, Mike Colon, Chris Humphreys and David Wittig to name a few.

The atmosphere was relax and friendly. Everyone at conference was engaging and geniunly caring. We felt part of the family. We also got to mingle with other talented and up and coming photographers such as Charlie Thiel, Curtis Copeland , Vanessa Stump and Tracy Bohannan



We specially enjoyed our mentoring session with our PUG leader -Carlos Baez. That was priceless! YOU RULE!! Honest and Truth !

After the conference, we hopped on a tour to see some of the sights. Check out the slideshow below.

Jaden's Baptism

Jaden Alexander was baptized in the Mayfair Hotel of Coconut Grove by Reverend Arlene Gilman. Proud mommy held him in her arms as he received this blessed sacrament. Afterwards, family and friends gathered for dinner at Citrus Grove Restaurant.
