Geraldine & Nestor's Wedding

Today, Claudia and I filmed Geraldine and Nestor's Wedding at Saint Benedict Catholic Church. The reception was held at the Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables. The bride and groom are a fun & energetic couple, and every moment of this day showed it. We specially loved your movie themed wedding. The movie poster likeness of each other was one of a kind.

Here's a video clip we put together for Belly Dance by Alexandra. This footage was captured using mutli camera angles at the a wedding she performed at the Spanish Monestary in North Miami Beach.

Leyda & Juan Carlos' Wedding

We had a great time yesterday filming Leyda & Juan Carlos' Wedding held at the Spanish Monastery, in North Miami. Leyva and JC exchanged their vows just before sunset in the gardens of the Monastery, surrounded by family and friends. We wish your marriage be blessed with many more beautiful moments and sunsets.

Hawaii Vacation 09

Claudia and I just got back from our week long vacation, we had the pleasure of touring some of the Islands of Hawaii. In Oahu we stayed on Waikiki Beach and visited Maui for a day. Rented a car and hit up Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Downtown, Hanauma Bay, Byodo-In Temple, Polynesian Cultural Center, North Shore, Sunset Beach.

In Maui we took on the Road to Hana, where we encountered some waterfall, Head up Haleakala Volcano, made it into Iao Valley State Park.

In[Focus] 1day Seminar

Today Claudia and I attended the In[Focus] seminar in Orlando, Fl. The event was hosted by the Orlando's Professional Videographers of Central Flordia and sponsored by In[Focus] and Canon.

We were inspired by industry leading filmmakers, Patrick Moreau, Konrad Czystowski of StillMotion and Kevin Shahinian of Pacific Pictures as they answer informing questions and explore what it takes to create "Inspired Wedding Films." Check out some photos below.

Miami Next Generation Cinematography Meeting

Today I had the pleasure of meeting with some great videographers of South Florida. The purpose of this group is to gather videographers in South Florida with talent and potential at all levels of experice to unite and improve the art of event and wedding video and cinematography.

We think we need to change the way people think about wedding videos. We are competing for a small piece of the market because most brides have a misconception on how wedding videos look, it is about increasing that market share together by making ourselves a "must have" service, like photography in the wedding business by way of great videos.

By helping each other we help our craft and we all benefit as a group. Not to mention that if we need backup camera's resources, assistance recording events and weddings. Provide and receive referals of clients if you or others are already booked or just not available.

It is a good place to build relationships and discuss the latest and greatest in technology. There are an estimated 22,000 weddings in South Florida each year. Only 17% get video. Lets make that number larger.
